Google organised the first ever event for agencies and web professionals in The Event Lounge, entitled ‘Google AdWords, Online advertising, tracking & measurements – How does it really work?’.
AdWords guru David Booth (US) came over to Europe especially for this presentation, which was on the agenda both in the Netherlands as well as Belgium. More than 400 guests joined David Booth for a full day of training and meetings in the Media Plaza in Utrecht. The Event Lounge in Brussels was ‘the place to be’ two days later, for the Belgian part which managed to convince more than 330 guests. So, almost a full house twice over.
D-Side Group took responsibility for the organisation of the entire event, including the room, the catering, the technical support, the decoration, etc. The participants’ attention remained incredibly focussed, as there was only one speaker on the day.
D-Side Group felt very honoured to be given this assignment and, with a view to a long-term working relationship, is already looking forward to the next challenge with Google.
