The Pro League Award was an exceptional evening full of excitement thanks to Sportizon, organizer of sports events. Congratulations to all the nominees and especially to the player of the year, Deniz Undav.

This VIP evening was a fabulous ending to the Belgian football season, with prize-giving for every category. Players, coaches, referees, and journalists enjoyed an evening that was full of surprises. Names mentioned were, among others, Tessa Wullaert (RSC Anderlecht), awarded best female player on Belgian soil, and Deniz Undav (R. Union Saint-Gilloise), awarded player of the year. Congratulations again to them and also to the other nominees!

Our high-speed internet connection guaranteed that the event could be broadcast directly via VRT’s site Sporza, as well as via RTBF’s site. It’s still possible for us to host live streaming events, even though we don’t mention Covid very much any more!

For 3 days, DDG Agency transported Event Lounge into the world of Salesforce for an exhibition, which gathered nearly 900 people, on the latest industry trends, with product demonstrations featuring new Salesforce and partner solutions.

The Sustainability aspect was of course a key part in the decision over the choice of venue.

Event agency DDG organised the ‘Live Belgium’ event, for international CRM leader Salesforce under the heady mid-June sunshine.

The Event Lounge was completely redecorated for the occasion. The entire 2,500m² floorspace of was taken over, focusing on the future of work, on how Salesforce can provide solutions for its clients and employees in such a manner that takes climate change issues into account.

What with inspiring conferences and practical demonstrations, guests were able to enjoy a journey full of discovery. It was also a fantastic networking opportunity for industry directors and members of the Salesforce ecosystem.

After Las Vegas, London and Amsterdam, Lenovo has chosen Event Lounge and its new technical setup to welcome its resellers and customers.

At the beginning of June, event agency ‘The Introduction’ came along with their client Lenovo Benelux. It was a programme packed full of interesting experiences and information for guests. They could rely on the latest high-end technical set-up from Event Lounge, present in every room, which made it possible for Lenovo to present all their new products and various sponsorships. This international event, repeated in several countries, has been a success for everyone involved. It is an absolute certainty that over the next few years we’ll see Lenovo again, with new ideas and innovations.

On May 11th we welcomed 850 Brussels Airlines employees for their Staff Party. The main goals of this event were to celebrate together and talk about the company’s future perspective. It was such a pleasure to see all these happy faces dancing all night long.

After more than 2 years of no partying, colleagues at the airline company have finally had the opportunity to come together in real life to celebrate! The sun was also in attendance at the event, which allowed guests to make the most of the large south-west facing terrace all afternoon.

With catering provided by Great Traiteur, plus a band and a DJ, staff were able to enjoy an excellent evening, dancing until the end of the night.

The Brussels Airlines crew left with stars in their eyes, and hope to return next year to celebrate their 21st birthday.

The Event Lounge hosts Hybrid Version of the 13th European Space Conference

The thirteenth edition of the prestigious European Space Conference took place on 12 and 13 January 2021 in the Event Lounge. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers opted for a hybrid event, with presentations taking place in three fully equipped streaming studios. The sessions were broadcast entirely on a new online platform, allowing participants to listen wherever they were, with more interactivity. Some 130 speakers and 32 sessions were scheduled for this year’s edition!

The conference offered two days of high-level debates between key players in the European space industry on the most important issues of the moment, i.e.:

• Space in the European and National Recovery Plans;
• Secure public telecommunications in Europe;
• Resilience and critical value chains;
• Research and Competitiveness of European Space;
• Space and defense;
• Space applications;
• Digital transition;
• European New Space;
• Space Exploration;
• International cooperation and business.
