Event Lounge was delighted to host another edition of the Trends CFO of the Year, organised by Roularta. Now a well-established date on our teams’ calendar, this year’s event brought together 450 guests for an evening combining networking, an awards ceremony and a gala dinner.

Each year, the Trends CFO of the Year honours a chief financial officer who stands out for their strategic vision, leadership and expertise. Beyond mastering the numbers, this award highlights the increasingly central role the CFO plays in a company’s strategy and future. A prestigious evening like this calls for a venue capable of supporting each key moment of the event while ensuring a seamless experience for guests.

Three moments, three spaces, one venue

One of Event Lounge’s great strengths lies precisely in the complementarity of its spaces. For this edition, the entire journey of the 450 guests could be organised within the venue, with a different atmosphere for each stage of the evening.

Guests were first welcomed in the Lounge Bar Area, a warm and convivial space particularly suited to a reception and an initial moment of networking — the chance to gather over a drink before the evening officially began.

The doors of Convention 1 then opened to welcome the 450 attendees in theatre-style seating. To give the ceremony its full impact, Roularta opted for our Immersive Pack and its 45-metre screen — a panoramic setup that makes full use of Convention 1’s dimensions and offers guests a truly immersive visual experience. Content, branding, presentations and the highlights of the awards ceremony take on an entirely different dimension in front of an audience of 450 people. This is where the evening’s high point took place: the Trends CFO of the Year 2026 ceremony itself.

Meanwhile, just a few metres away, the Cocktail Area stood ready to take over. Once the ceremony ended, the 450 guests were able to move straight into this space, transformed for the occasion into a fully seated gala dinner room.

450 guests, with no compromise on the experience

Hosting 450 attendees for a ceremony is one thing. Offering them, in succession, a reception, a theatre-style ceremony and a full gala dinner, all without changing venue, is quite another.

It’s precisely this combination that makes Event Lounge so effective for large-scale corporate events. Each space has its own identity while remaining directly connected to the others. Guests experience several different atmospheres over the course of the evening, while the organiser benefits from a single venue and centralised logistics.

This setup also makes it possible to create a genuine rhythm: welcome, gather, celebrate and dine, with natural transitions between each moment.
